Big Rocks are elegant functional landscaping features - Rockeries - created by arranging a variety of rocks in a way to border a garden, planter or terrace an area or perhaps serve as functional retaining walls which are provide a visually striking element to your property.  The functional purpose of a Rockery might be to terrace a garden, planter, or terrace levels of property.  Some Rockeries imitate alpine or mountainous environments and some Rockeries are specially engineered retaining walls.  We also do Rockery and retaining wall Repairs for those old structures in need.

When a rockery is built on a level spot, many landscape techniques are to build the spot up before positioning rocks, to give the rockery contradictory levels, which will create a more visual touch. Typically, several nice large rocks are used as a base for a rockery, with smaller stones filling the gaps, and very fine gravel or sand for details.
